Lower Halstow, 13:00 to 14:20, Dry, cloudy & grey with light wind. Low tide. Hundreds of Teal & Wigeon present but I spent time trying to confirm ID of 5 small grebes that spent most time below the surface. In the finish 3 were clearly Slavs but the other 2 had to remain in doubt.
